FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2001 The Seattle Post-Intelligencer investigated the Puyallup Tribe of Washington for several weeks, finding incidents where alleged crimes went uninvestigated, employees were fired and tribal funds were misused. The paper appears spurred on by critics of the current tribal administration who say the council uses their power to favor themselves and their families.
