Tribal leaders from the Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Seminole, and Creek Nations in Oklahoma are opposing an English-only ballot initiative in the upcoming state election.

The leader say it makes people whose first language is not English harder to live in Oklahoma. Governor Frank Keating said it was a "narrow-minded" law.
