JULY 11, 2000 The FBI will investigate the shooting death of Daniel Gray Sutton on Cheyenne and Arapaho tribal land. The FBI will conduct the investigation along with tribal police, who have Sutton's brother, Michael Duane Sutton, in custody. No charges have yet been filed. Federal authorities have jurisdiction over "major" Indian on Indian crimes, including murder. Get the Story:
