JUNE 7, 2001

Lawyers for convicted Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh on Wednesday said they will continue to fight for a delay in his scheduled execution, seeking Supreme Court review if necessary.

The defense team said they were disappointed with a federal judge's decision not to grant McVeigh a stay. He is set to be executed on June 11, should his appeals fail.
