Man indicted for Sioux fraud

JUNE 21, 2000 Kenneth Hacker was indicted Tuesday on charges of mail and wire fraud and false check and counterfeit securities charges by federal authorities. Hacker allegedly bilked people out of more than $200,000 by claiming he was the great-great grandson of a Sioux chief. The Boston Herald does not report the name of the chief, or if a name was ever known. Indianz.Com is currently investigating the identity of Kenneth Hacker, believing a staff member met him at Robert Mirabal concert in the Boston area in 1997. Get the Story:
