Presidency comes natural for woman

Claudia Vigil-Muniz was elected last fall as the first female leader of the Jicarilla Apache Nation in northern New Mexico.

The job is a natural one for Vigil-Muniz, who worked in the tribe's education department and has a background in government administration. But she also says she was never told what jobs a woman could and could not do.
