MAY 16, 2000 An shooting incident involving two Santee Sioux men went to trial on Monday. In 1998, bystander Daniel Red Owl was shot during a scuffle at Lewis and Clark Lake in Knox County, Nebraska. He alleges sheriff deputy Dale Robertson shot him intentionally or recklessly and is seeking unspecified damages from Robertson. The trial is expected to complete on Friday. Get the Story:
