Leaders from the Ute Tribe in Utah praised Governor Mike Leavitt in helping to resolve hunting, taxation, rights-of-way, law enforcement and jurisdiction issues between the tribe and local governments. The tribe plans to work with Leavitt on future issues such as foster care, education, and diabetes.
