The day after Crow tribal court judge Donald Stewart issued an order last week temporarily ousting chairwoman Clara Nomee from office, a different judge, James Yellowtail reassigned himself to the case. Now, a third judge, Chief Tribal Judge Glen Bird In Ground, has entered into the fray, signing an order assigning Stewart exclusive control.

The order prevents Nomee from doing business on behalf of the tribe and from running for relection next month. Judge Stewart will preside over a permanent hearing on Thursday. Get the Story:
