Residents concerned about Puebloland deal

Local residents and local officials, critical of a proposed settlement between Sandia Pueblo and the federal government say the pact gives far too much control to the pueblo over the general public. During a news conference held yesterday, Bernalillo County Commission Chairwoman Barbara Seward said the agreement poses several future problems. Sandia Govenor Stuwart Paisano attended the conference and said he hopes to meet with opponents. Get Story:
