DECEMBER 11, 2000 Reacting to accusations of abuse of power, deception, and incompetence, the Southern Ute Tribe of Colorado on Friday voted 349 to 50 to oust Chairman John E. Baker Jr. The tribe will hold a special election within 60 days to elect a replacement to Baker. Get the Story:
