Tribe meets new councilors

NOVEMBER 9, 2000 The two new councilors elected by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation held a press conference on Wednesday and said they hope to try and resolve the tribe's differences with local communities. Charlene R. Jones and Fatima C. Dames were joined by incumbent Micheal J. Thomas. All were elected when the tribe went to the polls on Sunday. Get the Story:
