Embezzler of Kiowa funds sentenced

NOVEMBER 7, 2000 A former employee of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma was sentenced to six months in federal prison and order to repay the tribe $5,500. Jerri Denise Smith pleaded guilty to embezzling funds while she was an employee in 1995. Get the Story:
