OCTOBER 18, 2000

As required by his plea agreement with the government, physicist Wen Ho Lee began undergoing interrogation by FBI agents on Tuesday.

Should evidence surface that Lee lied about his involvement in mishandling military secrets, the agreement can be set aside and the Justice Department can pursue charges against him once again. He pleaded guilty to just one minor and was sentenced to time already served.
