Plains tribes rally on health

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 23, 2002 The Montana-Wyoming Tribal Leaders Council kicked off its health care roundtable in Montana on Tuesday as tribal leaders called on joining together to fight numerous problems facing reservations in the Plains. The three-day conference is focused largely on funding issues. Tribes were asked to bring budgets, which will be used in part to create a report for Congressional lobbying. Get the Story:
