Odor closes Oneida Nation gas station

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2001 A gas station owned by the Oneida Nation was temporarily closed and six persons sent to hospital on Monday. Five employees and one customer reported a mysterious order at the Conastota SavOn. After experiencing watery eyes and nausea, they were treated at local hospitals and sent home. No one was injured. The station reopened on Tuesday after water was poured down a floor sewer drain to get rid of the odor. Get the Story:
