The Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. has donated 35 cellular phones to the Interior Alaska Center for Non-violent Living for victims of domestic violence.

The phones are programmed to call 911 only. Cellular time is provided by Alaska Communication Systems.

The cellular program is aimed at providing victims with a back-up plan to call for help in domestic violence situations.
