JULY 27, 2000

The Northern Cheyenne Tribe of Montana will host a summit today in Lame Deer to discuss how to combat drug and alcohol abuse on the tribe's reservation.

Last month, Attorney General Janet Reno visited the tribe to commend them for some of their successes. She was impressed with the tribe's Boys and Girls Club, one of the first on a reservation.
