JUNE 22, 2000 The Nebraska Health and Human Services System promised to help the Winnebago, Omaha, Santee Sioux, and Ponca tribes of Nebraska find more money to develop tribal health programs. The move is a first for the state, who hope to help tribes conquer the daunting task of applying for federal grants. The tribes' initial concerns involve alcohol treatment programs. Get the Story:
