State to investigate death at tribes' clinic

JUNE 14, 2001 Health officials in North Dakota will be investigating the death of a woman who died at the kidney dialysis clinic on the Fort Berthold Reservation. Cecilia Fox, 64, died last week at the clinic in New Town. Her death came on Friday, just five days after the troubled facility reopened. The clinic had been closed due to a management dispute with nurses. Patients want Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation Chairman Tex Hall to investigate Fox's death. Hall said he was at the center within an hour of her death. Get the Story:
