MAY 2, 2000 Responding to requests by patrons, both the Foxwoods casino in New London, Connecticut and the Mohegan Sun casino in nearby Montville recently banned smoking in their poker rooms. The change was welcomed by visitors and casino employees alike. Both casinos have smoke-free gaming facilities but the new policy just applies to their poker rooms.
