Community battles high heroin usage

Rio Arriba County in northern New Mexico has the highest death rate per capita from heroin overdoses and state health officials and law enforcement want to give Narcan, a heroin antidote, directly to addicts.

The antidote can be used to reverse the effects of an overdose and prevent death.
