Risk from 'miracle' drugs high

DECEMBER 12, 2000 With the number of drugs which have been recently pulled of the market, the Food and Drug Administration is urging consumers and doctors to be aware of the risks of so-called "miracle" drugs. Since 1997, some 11 popular drugs have been recalled or removed from shelf. They range from diet to diabetes to heartburn drugs. Get the Story:
