Inuit film takes top honors

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2002 Atanarjuat, the Fast Runner, a film by Inuit director, Zacharias Kunuk, took home several honors Thursday night at the 22nd annual Genie Awards in Canada. The film won five of the seven categories in which it was nominated, including best picture and director. The film is entirely in Inuktitut, an Inuit language. Get the Story:
