JULY 18, 2000 Whether or not candidates backed aboriginal leaders grab any seats in the upcoming federal elections, Linda Trimble, a University of Alberta political science professor, says First Nations leaders will win because they have chosen a sound strategy for promoting their candidates and Indian issues.
