The Pedahbun Lodge will lose $840,000 in annual funding from the federal government and Ontario after a probe into the drug and alcohol abuse center revealed mismanagement of funds and lack of full investigation into sexual harassment allegations.

The audit found mismanagement of $165,000 in money, which included a trip to to California. An independent consultant hired by the government also found that allegations of sexual harrasment against the executive director weren't properly investigated and didn't clear the director.

The facility, which is located in Toronto, may be forced to close as a result. It opened in 1974.
