Two Alaska Native fishermen lent their years of experience to a search effort this past fall in Cook Inlet.

Leo Stephan, 72, and George Ondola, 71, used their knowledge of tides to help investigators locate a downed helicopter with two passengers. The two Dena'ina Athabaskan men gave information that directly contributed to the discovery of the victims.
