Fish disease confirmed on reservation

Whirling disease has been founded on a stream on the Flathead Reservation, the Salish and Kootenai Tribes confirmed.

Whirling disease is a parasitic infection that attacks trout, harming their nervous and bone system. The state of Montana has identified it as the biggest threat to the trout population.
