Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska) is so happy with his colleague's votes to approve drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge that he predicts the Senate will do the same.

How is that going to happen? Along with his friends, he's going to "whack" the Senate, he tells The Anchorage Daily News.

Labor unions, traditionally the allies of Democrats, helped push the House to approve the drilling provision. They say development in the Arctic and elsewhere will bring jobs to Americans.
