A group of environmental and public interest groups on Tuesday filed suit to try and force the Department of Defense to conduct additional environmental studies of missile testing sites.

One site for which work has already started is Fort Greely, Colorado. The Pentagon has awarded Aglaq Construction Enterprises, a subsidiary of Point Hope Native Corp., nearly $5 million to begin work for the site.

Aglaq on Monday began to clear away land in preparation for future construction.
