N.M. petroglyphs to be open to public

A New Mexico site containing hundreds of Indian petroglyphs will soon be open to the public, said a conservation group this week.

The 656-acre site is located on a hill near Galisteo. The Trust for Public Land said the hill is covered with volanic rock that contains the petroglyphs.
