MONDAY, JULY 16, 2001 A team of federal scientists over the weekend again failed to free an endangered right whale caught in fishing line off the coast of Massachusetts. The National Marine Fisheries Service plans on trying to rescue the whale again, one of 300 known in existence. Since being caught in the line, its health has worsened and scientists say it will die unless freed. Get the Story:
