The Senate Interior Appropriations subcommittee on Thursday approved a spending bill that includes an $8 million payment for the Rocky Boy's water rights settlement.

The panel also approved $2.3 million for an Indian memorial at the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. Plans for the monument have been languishing for a decade without Congressional funding.
