MAY 30, 2001 It costs $5,000 to join the Alliance for Energy and Economic Growth but that isn't the only requirement for the a new political lobbying group, Members must pledge to support President Bush's national energy policy 100 percent. If any are caught lobbying against any parts of it, even if it should change, they won't be part of the group. The guidelines haven't dissuaged 400 groups from joining the month-old corporate alliance. Get the Story:
