APRIL 19, 2001 A flood has hit the Upper Sioux Reservation in Minnesota, causing residents of 11 households of the tribe to leave their homes. Officials expect it will be a week before they might be able to return. The reservation is located near Granite Falls. The US Department of Agriculture says 90% of the 750-acre reservation is located in the flood plain. Get the Story:
