Tribe to pay sewer costs

MARCH 21, 2001 The Mohegan Tribe has agreed to pay the Connecticut town of Montville $1.25 million dollars over the next decade to expand the town's water and sewage treatment facility. The tribe will also be spending $3 million on improvements to the plan. Overall, the tribe is spending $22 million for an infrastructure project to support the expansion of their casino. The tribe will pay a user fee for the services from the town as well. Get the Story:
