Tribe worried about planned burn

The Western Shoshone Nation in Nevada is opposing a planned burn proposed by the Bureau of Land Management because they say it would damage a traditional food source and potentially cause the release of poisonous and radioactive materials.

In response, the BLM has put on hold the burn until they can complete an environmental impact statement.
