FEBRUARY 8, 2001 A National Audubon Society study released on Wednesday cited threats to wildlife in 10 national wildife refuges. The report says the 10 refuges are symptomatic of problems facing the system nationwide. Some of the threats cited include pesticide in the Salton Sea in California and marsh destruction in Maryland.
