Fire forces casino evacuation

JANUARY 4, 2000 A large brush fire in in Southern California forced the evacuation of patrons at the Viejas Tribe's casino on Wednesday night. The fire is also forcing the evacuation of hundreds of residents in the area. It began Wednesday morning on an interstate east of San Diego and quickly spread, due to high winds. Get the Story:
