JANUARY 24, 2001 Freshman Congressman Brad Carson (D-OK) on Tuesday met with President George W. Bush to discuss a national energy policy. He was part of a group of about 15 Republican and Democrat lawmakers to whom Bush has been reaching for support. Carson is a member of the Cherokee Nation. Get the Story:
