Nurtured bald eagle flies again
NOVEMBER 16, 2000

A bald eagle which had a wing injury was released to the wild again on Wednesday, after seven months of care by members of the Bad River Ojibwe tribe in Wisconsin and the University of Minnesota.

The bird's serious injury might have prevented it from ever flying again. But it slowly healed after surgeries and care.
