NOVEMBER 15, 2000

The Connecicut town of Montville has generally approved a $3 million sewer project proposed by the Mohegan Tribe.

The tribe wants to install a new sewer line and upgrade the town's sewage treatment plant. The project will better handle waste from the tribe's casino.

The town has supported the plan because it helps address a pending lawsuit against them.
