Cow pregnant with rare animal

Genetic scientists in Massachusetts have successfully impregnated a cow with the embryo of a guar, an endangered ox-like animal.

The guar was created by cloning skin cells from a recently deceased male guar. These were fused with the cows' egg cells whose genes had been removed.
