Tribes state reach agreement

Three Wabanaki tribes and the Baxter State Park Authority have reached an agreement over the use of the park for special uses and ceremonies.

No fees will be charged for day use of an area in the West Branch lands. The Katahdin Stream Campground will be available for group use three weekends a year at a minimum fee of $450.
