Bison face threat from wolves

Wolves recently reintroduced in the Yellowstone National Park have learned to kill bison and are now including more of the animal in their diet, say biologists.

But the biologists say they don't expect the wolves, who almost never get to finish eating their meal, to significantly lower the bison population in the park. The wolves were reintroduced in 1995.

Regarding the bison in Yellowstone, the National Park Service is accepting comments on its management plan until the end of the business day on October 17. Comments should be addressed to:
