They say Americans pay more attention to television than real-life. The Alaska Wilderness League appears to be capitalizing on the suggestion.

The group has been running anti-Arctic drilling ads in movie theatres in 12 states and in Washington, D.C. The ads feature Martin Sheen, the actor who plays the fictional president on the television's "West Wing."
