Whether cannibalism occurred among Puebloan communities in the Southwest will be discussed at an archaeology summit this weekend in New Mexico.

The Anasazi Cannibalism Symposium will be held Saturday. Researchers will present their findings on the matter and then a moderated discussion will be held.

The event is part of the Archaeology Society of New Mexico's two-day annual meeting. It will be held in Farmington.
