THURSDAY, APRIL 18, 2002 Noted author and scholar Joe Sando of Jemez Pueblo will give a talk on Indian and Spanish relations today in New Mexico. Sando's talk will focus on the history of the two peoples after the 1700s. He will speak at the Historic Old San Ysidro Church in Corrales. Sando is the director of the Institute for Pueblo Indian Studies and Research. He has authored several books, with one forthcoming on Pope, the San Juan Pueblo man who led the Pueblo Revolt of 1680.
