The Nizipuhwahsin Center is a private school on the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana whose goal is to teach the first new generation of tribal members fluent in Piegan.

Piegan is the tribe's language, spoken in Montana and parts of Canada. It's also spoken exclusively at the $100-a-month school, where all subjects are taught in the original, or "nizipuhwahsin," Blackfeet tongue.

Currently, most fluent speakers are elders in their 80s. About 500 overall are reported fluent.
