The Navajo Nation Council on Thursday voted to restore $2 million in funds to the Navajo Preparatory School.

The council voted 65-10 to override President Kelsey Begaye. Begaye rejected the funds, which are being used to improve crumbling school facilities.

The full project needs $7 million, according to council delegates.
